"Hello neighbour...It's true - we've made our home right around the corner, up around the bend. Be sure to drop by whenever you're in need of a cupful of wonderful"
Well, Anthropologie did not disappoint! It was three floors of wonderful; from the eclectic use of material in the magpie chandeliers to the broken china skirt that took them a day to put together. They had furniture from Clark & Reilly, whose ethos encourages a movement away from disposable furniture - Old fashioned methods and materials make their items live longer than their purchaser!
There was a polar bear downstairs, marine animals hanging from the ceiling, big paper flowers, a plant wall, and large china sheep. There were the old Anthropologie favorites: latte bowls in an array of colours, pretty appliqued tea towels, frilled shower curtains, the prettiest of frill cashmere scarves, an adorable red felt hat and the hard back "classic story" books that had the nicest canvas covers.
My favorite item was the china tea and cakes plate candle holder, which has got me thinking of ideas for my dining table.
