Loving Life - This Quote Is One To Live By

There comes a time when you have to stand up and shout:

this is me damn it! I look the way I look, I think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I am a whole complex package. Take me .. or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mold. If I need to change, I alone with make that decision.

When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities life presents you.

In my week of posts about Copenhagen interior brands, I could not miss out on another of my favorites, Green Gate. I love how bright and happy their new Spring range looks. It's based on the designer's Danish Summer retreat, the seaside town of Skagen.

Have a sweet day!

I love a well co-ordinated birthday party so I am constantly doing the rounds of the party blogs.

One of my favorites is Birthday Girl and they are having a giveaway.

Becca creates the most amazing inspirations boards - you tell her the theme and for $25 she does all the work and puts one together for you. Her giveaway is offering you the chance to win a custom inspiration board - yes please just what I need.

Pop on over now and check her out - truly inspirational.

Creative Play Spaces

Lately I've been thinking a lot about play spaces. Now that Fern has turned one, I'd really like to set up a little space for her to explore and be free to play and be creative. The problem is, I don't have unlimited space, and it is looking like she will have a little corner in the living room while I contemplate turning the guest room into a playroom one day.

But this doesn't mean Fern's 'little corner' can't still be gorgeous... right?? So, next week my project is to get to work on Fern's play space.

Have you found any great sites with inspiring pictures of children's play spaces?

My favourite (and about the only one I've found that comes remotely close to what I'm looking for, is from OhDeeDoh where I sourced the following images. Enjoy, and have a great weekend!
