Postie delivery: Clutter buster tips

Today I'm over at Deb's excellent life coaching blog Home. Life. Simplified. Don't tell Deb I told you this (hi Deb) but in another life her blog is exactly the kind that I wish I'd started. Just useful, important stuff about life as we know it (rather than impractical but mostly pleasant ramblings about the state of the world and pretty things).

I've come over all Peter Walsh* and I'm talking about how I manage to keep the paper - the incessant, breeding, infiltrating, life-destroying PAPER - at bay at my place. I hope my tips are helpful.

I think this is my last postie delivery for now... I think. I went nuts a few weeks back and accepted invites like they were flowers, so I'm not sure how many I actually sent out. I am a writing machine at times. Even when I'm not officially writing regularly... apparently. Somewhat.

ANYWAY, how do you keep the paperlanche at bay?
And what IS it with Oprah and the Aussies?

How are you all on this Tuesday morning?

it's school holidays here so our days are a little less rushed & as I type the girls are making fairy puppets at the dining room table. still in their pj's. & we are making the most of a day at home with no real plans. the rest of the week is going to be full up. with appointments & playing with friends at the park. not having to do the school run morning & afternoon is refreshing!

i hope to share some more photos from our recent holiday away. but until then here are some newly found blogs I am loving. check them out!

My Winter Wonderland Christmas

My Winter Wonderland Christmas by Torie Jayne

Today I am kicking off my Winter Wonderland Christmas. I love Christmas and it is my favourite holiday to decorate for. There are just so many options with colour and style and don't get me started on all the home-made decorations and treats I want to make. So this year I have started early. I have been working on my colour and theme ideas over the past few weeks and have decide to go with a woodland nature theme in a colour palette of snowy white, pale pink, vintage bubblegum pink, icy aqua, teal, fresh green and olive.

I love the idea of using last year's Winter Woodland decorations of shimmery toadstools, pearly owls and smooth white deer and doe, but giving them a fresh new look by adding pretty colours and lots of bird motifs. So come join my journey to what I hope will be a Winter Wonderland Christmas full of pretty crafts and sweet treats!

Have a sweet day!
