blogging

I had an email this week from someone regarding 'wordless wednesday' something I started here on my blog
as a way to link the blogging community through
photographs & images
giving a day a week to not have to write anything
it sounded catchy
much better than silent wednesday etc.......

they brought to my attention
a 'wordless wednesday' link up
that was started several years ago

the email stated:

'in my experience Bloggers have
way more respect than to poach anothers Meme using the exact same title! Not even a
small variation??? I'm a long standing Meme player, have seen many come and go but
have NEVER seen such blatant copying! Plagiarism springs to mind!
Seems like you also enjoy a double standard. You earnestly requesting your own photo's
not be used yet you're willing to steal a long standing, successful, working idea of another
blogger for personal amusement and blogging world gain!
No offence intended, just thought you would like to know!
Hope your conscience recovers!'

You can imagine my shock & disbelief
& how saddened I was with these accusing words
as I was never out to copy
or upset anyone
it's just not how I roll

SO rather than feel intimidated & upset about the whole issue
I would like you guys to help me
think of a new title
so we can be free to 'meet' here each wednesday & share our love of wordless images

please leave any suggestions in the comments & the new title will be revealed on wednesday! thank you XO

My Weekend Buddy

This is the guy I get to hang out with all weekend! A golden retriever named Patton.

Isn't he gorgeous?

He's a good boy too and knows many commands.
Tomorrow we're going to the dog park- the big dog area!
Roxy gets to stay at Grandma's since she hardly cares for other dogs..I miss her already!

have a great weekend!

This Saturday I'm grateful for... new experiences.

Here in Maxabellaland, Saturday is traditionally a sport, shop, sort the clothes, sweep the floors, strangle the Tsunamis (insert other 's' words here - no pun intended) kinda day. But it's nice to pause to appreciate the things in your life that are positive and affirming, whatever they may be. Thank you to all the lovely blogs that link up for yummy bloggy visits each Grateful Saturday.

This Saturday, I'm grateful for...

1. New experiences - it is so easy to become a creature of habit and routine when you are raising young children. I appreciate a break from my real life every time, even if I happen to find myself in the middle of the boganvillea V8 Supercars with my eyes hurting from sponsored shirts and my ears hurting from Dire Straits.

2. Cushions - they make the decor so easy to change, but when you just need a little extra softness there, there or there, cushions really come into their own. It may interest you to know that we somehow manage to house over 40 cushions in Maxabellaland...

3. The kindness of strangers - thank you for asking me whether I was in pain and needed help today. That's just my face, but thank you anyway.

Fill in the blank Friday!

It's Friday. I'm at work and should be working, but instead I'm going to link up with the little things we do for the first time! Thanks Kaley and Mandee!

1.   I am  a wife, an aunt, a sister, a daughter, and hopeful.

2.  I wish  the work day were over with already!

3.  I like  Sunday football get-tog ethers, & seeing my nephews & niece(s) in Halloween costumes!

4.  I can not hardly wait until Monday- to meet  my new niece!

5.  I hope  the big golden retriever at my house is being good!

6.  I think   I'm getting old.

7.  I was  eating KFC for lunch, which I haven't had in years. And now I feel disgusting, shoulda  packed a lunch!

Als0- I am selling my Sony HX1 for a good deal.  It takes great pictures, but I have my eye on another.  It's just two months old and will come with a 8gb memory card and bag.  It has taken all my pictures on here since September 1st. If you're interested leave a comment or e-mail jeskapug@hotmail.com

Sea legs and smiles...

We love this nautical antique museum...just over the boarder on the Tweed coast

one could never tire of such interesting discoveries...it's spread over 3 levels and every single nook and cranny is filled to the brim...with treasure!

These nautical images are for the very sweet Maureen...she made me smile with her kindness and she also loves seaside living.
