Ok, its Point + Shoot time over at Telle's place again but shhh... I'm cheating

(I went to take a photo but the battery is flat) so I'm using one I took last night.

When I say one I should really say one of about fourty - I have been trying for months to get a decent photo of Lou wearing one of the many hair pretties I make - Last night we had a mini photo shoot happening (I made a impromptu studio and everything) but I got zip :( except for this nice one of her.

She just wont sit still and spends more time trying to take photos than be infront of the camera anyway. Here's one of the many that she had to take of her beloved baby

- maybe I have a budding photographer on my hands (that would be nice)

Party Week ... Part Five

My obsession with parties is taking over my life. So much so that I am seriously considering how I turn this love I have for parties into a little business ... my mind is still ticking but I am going to have to start to justify all this time I spend on the internet somehow!!

We are off to my Aunt's Wedding in the NSW Wine district this weekend so I will feel very at home at another party ... Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Bald is the new long... right?

I am fixated on Ferns hair... or perhaps I should say lack thereof? You see, my precious daughter has been gifted with hair the colour of sunlight... strands of beautiful blonde that offset her milky white skin and piercing blue eyes. The only problem is, there's just not alot of it. She's always been a little bit bald, my little girl, and though her hair is now the thickest and longest it has ever been, the prospect of tying it back or pinning a precious lock back from her forehead with a gorgeous hairclip seems an awfully long way into the future at this point.

Perhaps to torture me, friends and family insist on gifting me with the most gorgeous hair accessories. I probably own at least 20 clips along with a range of hair ties. sigh. One day I will be able to blow the dust off them... right?

This is the closest Fern has come to sporting a hairclip, this one stolen from the hair of her lovely godmother, Kel (it seems she might also be wearing something else stolen from Kel!):

Anyway, to torture myself just a tiny bit more, here are a few finds off Madeit that I will buy once Fern finally grows some hair! Which do you like?
