The Ammmmazing Mmmmmonster party was a huge success.

We played 'chase the monster tail'...

We ate monster food...

We made monster masks...

We wrapped ourselves up like mummies and awarded medals to the best mummy-wrapping team...

And we went on a monster treasure hunt to find the monster softies...

It was a fantastic day.

Roberts Radio RD60 DAB Digital Radio in Duck Egg

Ever noticed how some of the best dressed kitchens have Roberts radios in them? I have. I couldn't believe it when I looked into Roberts radios and found that they have just launched new Spring colours; among them is the gorgeous duck egg blue! It is also the first eco-friendly retro style digital radio they have produced, with a battery life of around 120 hours. As you know, duck egg blue is going to be the highlight colour in my new kitchen so I couldn't resist ordering one for the window sill.

Macaroons

I am currently having a serious love affair with macaroons - not only do look just perfect but after a small sampling on the weekend I have realized just how yummy they are and have decided they are a definite for my next dessert table - now to source the ultimate macaroon by June - this could be a dangerous exercise!!
