An old find

Sunny Sunday where are you. The sun is trying oh so very hard to push through the clouds in the sky. It succeeds for a few minutes then the clouds take over again! I am hoping the sun wins very soon as we have friends coming over for a BBQ and a day by the pool! Fingers crossed the sun puts on a show for us!!!

Here are a few little beauties that I found in my draws at mum and dads last week...

~ My old camera - with film - I cant not remember the last time I used this camera so I went straight down to the photo shop to get the film developed - can't wait to get the photos back - What a suprise that will be ~

~ GenEXXA All Weather Walkman ~

~ My old TAPE walkman! It was very cool back in the day as it had a tape player AND am/fm radio! I was totally up in the times ;) ~

~ The best part about this little find was that they were both in a blue BUM BAG! A beautiful little 80's package that took me straight down memory lane!

Happy Sunday Every One

Today I am grateful for...

 WORK... and my husband

This is such a beautiful and inspiring blog link that this week I just had to join in. Maxabella Loves and several, a heap, ALOT of gorgeous writers blog about what they are grateful for each Saturday. I think this is such a beautiful way to end the week and start the weekend. To reflect on the weeks activities, feelings, lessons and emotions and really dig deep and take notice of those special moments, people, things that we are grateful for.

~ So today I am grateful for work ~

Along with his full time job my husband is the maintenance guy/gardener for my bosses beach house down the coast. So every Saturday he goes down and works on their house and garden. Today I went with him as we haven't seen each other all week so every moment I can get with him I grab! This meant I got to spend a beautiful morning on the beach while Rob got to work. Each Saturday I would get a little frustrated when he didn't get home until 2.00 or 3.00 in the afternoon and I could never understand why it took so long to 'mow a lawn'. But he works his magic down there. He mows and hedges and prunes and weeds and perfects this garden like an art piece. I was in awe watching him as he turned this messy over grown garden and yard into a green beach side heaven. He has such an amazing talent for landscaping and gardening and it just blew me away. I even got inspired and motivated to help out however after blowing all the leaves from the back and front garden I was GONE! Ready for a swim and lunch and a sleep I sat down to read and Rob kept going for another 3 hours! He's a machine!

So today I am grateful for work. It really proved to me that I have such a hard working and talented husband and today's work allowed us to spend some beautiful quality time laughing, playing and working hard together in the most gorgeous workplace of all...the beach!

Have a beautiful weekend Everyone

I have filled my curio cabinet with a collection of new and old finds that have inspired my Winter Woodland Christmas.
