Magazine Love... Mollie Makes!

Do you do a happy dance when you visit your mailbox and find anything inside it other than your Visa bill and your Council excess water reminder? I know I do! Last week, I opened up my box to find a parcel from my friend Ben. Inside was a veritable treasure trove of excitement including two magazines from the UK where Ben resides. One of these magazines, Mollie Makes, is kinda rocking my world and I am only pausing long enough from working out how to subscribe from Australia to share this discovery with YOU, dear friends!

Why we don't have a magazine like this in Australia is beyond me. If you love handmade... you'll adore this magazine. Interviews with amazingly creative people, craft tutorials, styling inspiration, and more ideas than you can poke a stick at. It might have been more effective for me to have only folded down the corners of pages I didn't want to come back to, peeps!

Check out an issue sampler here... They also shot a promo video, which is well worth checking out... can you tell I want to be a promo girl for this magazine? Anyway, I am wanting to subscribe to this mag immediately... if not sooner. And in the meantime, I'm finding it hard to resist not whipping a batch up of those divine little strawberry pincushions!

Pause: one

Drink and dance and laugh and lie, love the reeling midnight through, for tomorrow we shall die
(but alas we never do)!

Cake Pops

Cake Pops

Today in my series of posts "Inspirational Pins", I bring you the prettiest cake pops in shades of lemon yellow, rose pink and dusky aqua. I can't wait to make another batch of cake pops to decorate.

Have a sweet day!
