Welcome to Friday Feature. This week I am sharing with you the gorgeous work of Tone Finnager for her brand, Tilda.

Norwegian graphic designer and artist, Tone Finnanger, started her craft brand Tilda in 1999 aged 25. She is known for her feminine, whimsical, comical and naive characters in the form of animals and dolls. Her range consists of craft books, craft products for sewing and paper crafts.

I have several of her books that I have had for some time now and have made several of the crafts she writes about, from fabric birds to deer heads. This year I am in love with her winter bird range, seen in pic 2 in a colour palette of aqua, teal, pale pink and green. I have already ordered some fabric to make Christmas stockings out of and paper to wrap my gifts in.

To see more of Tone Finnanger's work check out the Tilda site and to purchase her fabrics, trims and books go to Panduro Hobby.

Happy Friday, sweets!

Grateful gets cosy with Mira Narnie

Now, don't let the gorgeousness that is that girl in the posh cream coat up there scare you off. Brenda from Mira Narnie is quite possibly the nicest gal in blogland. I was one of her first followers and she was one of mine and I've loved her ever since.

Brenda is a clever clogs wearer so she's creative and caring (all the wearers of clever clogs seem to be caring), fashionable and just a little bit fancy. And she's kind enough to host our gratefuls this week so get on over there to link up already!

Oh, but before you go... I can't help myself - I'm also doing a very special guest postie delivery over at Life in a Pink Fibro today. Come see me.

catch of the day

strolling along the pier is something we don't do often enough. but when on holiday it seems to be something that comes naturally. time isn't on our minds as much. & chatting to local fishermen to discuss the catch of the day is a favourite past time of my husband. he loves to know & learn. i often stroll behind stopping to take in all the details & enjoy documenting the scenery.

what is your favourite thing about holidays?!
