~ Kids Winter Fashions ~

Kids fashion seems to be getting better and better each year - I am sure my kids look more fashionable than I do!!  While I do buy most of their clothes in the chain stores like Target I have found this season I am loving Seed for some extra special pieces.

This lovely Red jersey dress is great as you can pop any plain t-shirt underneath and some leggings and I have covered the fact that my girls love dresses but they are warm as well.

This very cute cord skirt also looks great with leggings and boots or ballet flats

And these ballet flats are just adorable - would love them in every colour!

~ Perfectly Pink Mothers Day ~

What could be more perfect than Perfectly Pink Pyjama's from my Perfectly Pink Girls on Mothers Day.   Thank you my beautiful girls!

I so love pink so here are a few more pretty pink things that made me smile today.

Mini Le Creuset

Petite round casserole dish from Le Creuset
I love everything to colour coordinate, like my kitchen baking utensils and cute kitchen cupboard. As a result, my utensils are mainly pale blue with the odd hint of pale pink.

On the pink polka dot tray above is a petite round casserole dish from Le Creuset atop a silicone trivet from Martha Stewart at Macy's. The Le Creuset dish is from their satin blue collection which unfortunately they don't make any more. If you search around, though, you can still find some of the range being sold. For example, I bought my dish recently in TK Maxx at half the RRP.

~ Mothers Day Love ~

Image: Martha Stewart

Today I sat and watched my 4 year old sing at the Mothers Day Morning Tea at her pre-school and I became very emotional and teary - I could not stop thinking about our first born Laura who I will never get to sing to me or wish me happy mothers day - I do miss her desperately on occasions like this.
So to all the mums out there, if you blessed to have your children with you or if they are missing from your day to day lives I send you special wishes for mothers day.  May your day be filled with love.

~ Card Making ~

Time to make a card for mum for Mothers Day on Sunday - here is a little bit of inspiration from cards I have made in the past.

Wrapping paper

Cavallini and Co wrapping paper
Yesterday, I discovered a great gift and stationery company called Cavallini & Co. I'm really loving anything with birds on at the moment, and they do the most exquisite bird-patterned wrapping paper.

I bought two sheets of wrapping paper; one a pale aqua with bright pink birds and postage marks, and the other with gold birds, birdcages, and nests. I have some plain cardboard cases that I have been considering decorating. This wrapping paper is perfect as I think the cases will look gorgeous covered in it, and it totally matches the colour theme in my office. Now I just need to find some pink and gold ribbon for the edges of the cases.

I absolutely adore their new sticky notes and really want to find the bird eraser.

Easter basket

Easter basket with M&M's
I had originally filled my Easter basket with shredded green grass and Easter chocolates. Then, a friend gave me Easter M&M's she'd picked up in the US. I just had to put them out and thought the basket was the best place for them. I placed a ceramic green spot spoon in for easy serving.

I love the fact that in the US the regular candy comes in pastel colours and themes for Easter. For example, the M&M's above are in wonderful pastel colours with little chicks printed on the back.

Easter Kit Kats
The Kit-Kats above were also bought in the US at Easter time.
