Chicken Ink. Creative

Another post this week - I know... but I am so excited to introduce to you, a very crafty friend of mine who has just opened a made it store. Its called Chicken Ink. Creative - she makes everything from handbags to tactile softie blocks and owls for the little ones - she is also always happy to custom make or alter items. Tania has made a heap of things for me lately, so I thought is was about time I would show you some of them.

I had this T-shirt prettied up for Lou for her birthday party

I've had this beautiful bunting made to decorate my market stall in November.

Tania also sent down this gorgeous 'Big Girl' Bag for Lou for her Birthday - she loves taking it around with her.

You must check out her made it shop to see some of her other items like these and she also has a facebook page that you can become a fan of too!! Tania is having a stall at the Kids Stuff Market and going to sell some LLFF on the side for me - its in Bairnsdale VIC on the 18th October so if your in the area you must, must go and visit . Dont forget to join the LLFF facebook page - Once we hit 75 fans I will do another giveaway I think :) So don't forget to suggest LLFF to your friends.

I've been busy too - new Yoyo clips in my made it store! Have a great weekend everyone!!

~ What has happened to the weather ~

Not quite sure what has happened to the lovely spring weather in Sydney.

We have gone from this .....

to this ...

and it happened overnight ...

Wouldn't mind hoping on a plane to find this ...

Might hide inside for a few days until all this nasty weather moves on!!

What's the definition of chaos?

I shouldn't laugh. But really, this shot says it all.

The idea was so simple: capture the fast fading baby-ness of the darling little cherubs that make up our mothers group in one fab group photo.

We draped some black sheeting, grabbed a professional camera and placed our babes in two straight lines.

Cue chaos.

The screaming. The tears. The mother leaning in to retrieve wailing baby. The feather duster in shot desperately flailing, unsuccessfully tempting the babies to look at the camera.

Priceless.

WANT A LAUGH?

If this doesn't make you smile, then I don't know what will - enjoy.

Living Life To The Fullest

Feel like you are not getting anywhere, stuck in a rut, think the grass is greener on the other side? We have all done it, I recently had a period of finding it very hard to see my glass as half full, some of the following inspirational quotes gave me cause to reassess - may they help you to by allowing you to put on some other glasses when viewing your world and life. If there are some inspiration quotes that you use in your life, I would love for you to share them here.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle ... Albert Einstein.

A bird does not sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song ... Chinese proverb

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you deal with it is what makes the difference ... Virginia Satir

Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent ... Marilyn vos Savant

~ Baby Rooms ~

I have been scouring a few blogs to find some inspiration for baby rooms - here are some wonderful rooms I found at Spearmint Baby.

I love names on walls and cute little dresses hanging on walls.

All of these rooms have something wonderful about them - storage for some, beautiful colours for others.

I can't wait to get into our new house and create a lovely baby room for Indiana.

Made it love...

Well my mail man has certainly been busy - I got some lovely packages this week. Firstly this sweet little charm bracelet for Louise from ChallenCharms. Which of course she loves, loves, loves! You can check out Rachael's lovely handmade items here at her made it shop and you can also read her blog as well. Shes participating in Blogtoberfest where you have to blog once a day during October and has been quite interesting reading :) Another handmade piece I bought last week were these earrings for... ME - They are pretty, aren't they? I've had my eye on them for a while - it was a choice between these and these lovely little blue owl ones - perhaps next time. You can see Gillian's beautiful items here at her made it shop and read all about them in her blog here.

I also wanted to mention that Bec at little wise owl is having a competition - join and comment on her Blog to go in the running to win something special. I've had my eye on this bag but I think its time to wait until closer to xmas for more purchases.

I also got these owls and dinosaurs which I have turned into hairclips and brooches. Look out for them in my Made it store soon I have finally got my act together and made a Facebook page for LLFF - if you haven't already joined you can check it out here. Well the mail man just bounded down the door with another extra special package (thank god Lou didn't wake) He must be sick of dropping them off here :) Its so pretty but I want to get a decent photo so I will show you later in the week.
