Here is my favorite home made Christmas decoration. I made these Christmas NOEL letters two christmases ago and love getting them out each year.

As you can see Christmas in our house is not red and green but pink and green!

Happy Birthday x10

With 10 babies (rapidly approaching toddlerhood) in my mothers-group-turned-friends, we decided to hold one big birthday party in our local park with party food! and balloons! and pressies! and cake! The party is tomorrow and I can't wait for the squeals of delight under mountains of wrapping... closely followed by scrambling mummies sticking fingers down throats to lovingly extract the bits of wrapping paper the bubs won't be able to stop themselves from sampling.

In celebration, I was inspired by this inexpensive packet of bibs I found at Target:

... and this lot of hand-me-downs:

... to make a personalised bib for each of the bubs in our group for their very special party. Here's how they came up:

An hour of terrible sewing, a bit of fabric paint and ta-daaa! something to prevent the cake from smearing into their party clothes... for about 5 seconds! I'll post pics from the party tomorrow, should be lots of fun!

Point + Shoot

I have decided to join in with Chantelle's photography project called Point + Shoot where on a certain day we have take a snap of something of interest from the nominated day.

The first day was Sunday - and if you follow my little blog you would know it was market day for me. I had so much fun, my little LLFF clips flew off the table in the morning (not so much in the arvo) and Chicken Ink.'s Tees were a hit. It was also nice to spend some time with hubby (my seat warmer) without the little one, even though he spent almost more money than was made. I won't complain though as we now have a new fig tree planted in the garden.

Thank you very much to my lovely friends, family and madeit buddy Narelle who popped in to see us as well - which brings me to my point + shoot photo...

This is little M - how divine is she? This is her wearing her very 1st LLFF baby bling snap at the market while her dad is blowing a raspberry on her neck - How cute is that?!

and this is a crappy photo of me at about 8.30 in the morning at my stall.

Sunshine + Watermelon = Happy Baby!

Inspired by the Point and Shoot challenge by Fat Mum Slim over the weekend, here's yesterday's Sunday in a nutshell... sunshine. good friends. yummy bbq. paddle pool. one naked baby. one rather large piece of watermelon. Lotttttts of mess.

I love Summer! Have a great week...

Markets Galore!!

So its the perfect time of year for a little shopping .... If your into high quality, unique, made with love and thought type of gift like I am then boy do I have a jam packed weekend for you (if your in melbourne - that is) sorry if your not :)

Today I popped into the awesome Magnolia Square Event at the Brighton Town Hall and once again was not disappointed. I loved looking through the books at We heart books - its filled with the most precious stories and many classics from the past. Lou's grandmother couldn't resist this one - lots of fond memories of reading this when we were young.

There were so many lovely children's clothes and not to mention the amazing artwork by sweet william but what really took my fancy this time was the Bride & Wolfe stand - these wooden wall hangings are truly amazing and I want at least one in every room :)

Magnolia Square is on for the rest of the weekend so be sure to check it out.

Tomorrow I am going to try and head out to this - the brand new Blackbird Market. Its has music, art and awesome shopping with lots of my crafty made it friends there, such as Little Wise Owl, Narelle and Michvanetta.

So if your in the area (or not) be sure not to miss this one.

Now, if your not all marketted (is that a word??) out don't forget to come and visit ME at the Dingley Craft and Produce Market on Sunday!

Have a lovely weekend what ever you do!!
