Youtubing blues

So, we call it youtubing at our place, but you might know it as the Child Cold. This cruel malady is even worse than the Man Cold.

Nose streaming all day (hence the nickname). Restless groaning, thrashing and calling out all night. Waking in the morning with their hair plastered to their cheek with impenetrable snot. Cranky. Miserable. Awake.

Sigh.

I love pretty storage jars, so in my new kitchen I am going to treat myself to some blue Nigella Lawson jars to sit on the side to hold my sugar and tea bags.

In my baking ingredients cupboard I am going to add pink! For my birthday, I got given a pink Nigella Lawson jar in which I am going to keep my gluten-free flour, and some of my other baking ingredients in the adorable flip storage jars from Jamie Oliver.

We have a theme

I have finally decided on a theme for Indi's first birthday party which is fast approaching.

My theme has been decided by these lovely little friends I made at a cake making course about 18 months ago...

Yes we are going to have a bunny party.

Seeing as my bunnies are pink I sort of have to use it in the theme so we are going with a pink and brown colour scheme.

I love a good warm soup on a cold Melbourne day - so quick, easy & delicious to make. A favourite of ours is my husbands chicken noodle soup which always gets requests for more!
