has been a fun filled month & looking back

I can now sit & enjoy all the moments

after the busy times of rushing from

here to there & back again!

I enjoy this time of year catching up

with friends & celebrating happy days

the sun is shining brighter

& stronger {in this part of the world!}

which means more time to enjoy this kind of view

& it is easier to hit the open road with out needing to

be back in time for the end of the school day

I enjoy having time to think about the new year ahead

making plans, dreaming big & making productive lists

& as this year is coming to an end

We had such a great Christmas. There's nothing better than giving, being with family, and great food. I guess the receiving part is pretty awesome too ;) And we all received lots of goodies. So thankful for all of my family. I slacked on getting many pictures of action shots, I was too busy opening.. or being with Addison. It was such a joy to be a mommy this time and be so excited for her more than myself, even though she has no idea what's going on...I pretended like she did :) So here's my Christmas photo overload.

I received the best Christmas present
ever
just after 2am
on Christmas morning
a bundle of joy
we called her Zoe Hope
& she has made our family complete
& our Christmas days extra fun
as we celebrate with balloons & cake

I do wish you were here to see the Christmas sparkle in the girls eyes - you are dearly missed and thought of everyday. ~~

Pretty Christmas Packages

I recently joined in with the Social Media Secret Santa fun that the super lovely Chantelle from Fat Mum Slim organised. I mean, giving and recieving pretty presents and getting to know a heap of new bloggers- how could I not be involved.

Here is a pick of what I sent out ...

It went to a lovely mumma blogger that I had stumbled on before - Her name is Sonia and blogs at LionessLady. A quick Thank you to Tania from Chicken Ink for russling up a beautiful notebook for me to give her.

I got sent a beauifully wrapped package last week and vowed to save it till Christmas - well that didn't even last the day and before I knew it I was hanging my lanterns and stamping my new mail stamps all over previously wrapped presents. My gift couldn't be more perfect and I'm so happy I got involved. Thank you to Kerina from livingonlatte who bought for me.

Gift wrapped

How are your plans for Christmas coming on? I am slowly but surely getting there, fingers crossed....

I have wrapped my presents in a combination of four printed rolls of wrapping paper using double side tape so no tape is visible, tied them up with velvet and raffia ribbon and trimmed them with gift tags and candy canes.
