Cottage mug

Cath Kidston pastel cottage mug
I absolutely adore my Cath Kidston mug adorned with pretty pastel cottages. I wish she did other kitchen items in this print. The mug is set against a blue star place mat on a pink polka dot tray.

~ Cheers to the Weekend ~

Happy Friday - may your weekend be filled with frivolous fun.  See you next week.

Pretty cleaning

Pale blue cleaning goods from Martha Stewart
If you're a regular reader of my blog you will already know by now that I love everything to colour coordinate. So, you won't be surprised to learn that my cleaning goods are also in shades of pale blue from Martha Stewart at Macy's.

~ Ahh holidays ~

Just over a year ago my husband and I jetted off to our favourite holiday destination in the world - Beautiful Bali.  We love the balinese people and the lovely relaxed atmosphere not to mention the stunning resorts.

We have stayed at the Samaya Villa's in Seminyak three times now and we just love it. Just take a look at these phots and you will see why - just devine.

The lovely villa's - so romantic!

We celebrated my 40th birthday on this island in the centre of the pool
with our own staff - heaven!

Your own private plunge pool - bliss!

Just looking at the photos makes me desperate for a holiday - with 6 weeks to go until
our new baby will be here I think it will be while before we are jetting off to Bali again
- I can continue to dream though!!

~ Wardrobe Planning ~

Our new house is progessing well and I am so excited about new wardrobes!!  Being a lover of storage, neatness and all things organisational I can't wait to plan out the perfect wardrobe!  Here are a few inspirational wardrobes I have found.

I love the perfect size of the pigeon holes in this wardrobe -
just right for folded t-shirts and knits

Kitchen utensils

Aqua kitchen utensils
Following on my kitchen colour coordination theme, I thought I'd share some more of the kitchen utensils I've found. They make me smile when I open my kitchen doors and drawers and if I'm honest, I enjoy hunting for them all over the place. In fact, I've been known to spend hours on the internet and visiting home stores in and around London just to find my next utensil!

From left to right, meat thermometer and juicer from Martha Stewart, kitchen scissors and silicone spatula spoon from CKS, and ice cream scoop from Martha Stewart.

~ Kids Winter Fashions ~

Kids fashion seems to be getting better and better each year - I am sure my kids look more fashionable than I do!!  While I do buy most of their clothes in the chain stores like Target I have found this season I am loving Seed for some extra special pieces.

This lovely Red jersey dress is great as you can pop any plain t-shirt underneath and some leggings and I have covered the fact that my girls love dresses but they are warm as well.

This very cute cord skirt also looks great with leggings and boots or ballet flats

And these ballet flats are just adorable - would love them in every colour!
