~ A little run down ~

I am in need of a long relaxing bath and a very big sleep as I am getting myself a little run down trying to keep on top of everything so if you don't hear from me for a few days I have taken some time out to catch up on much needed sleep - I promise I will be back soon and not so bleary eyed!!

Bead flower

My porcelain flower palette is filled with beads sourced in India.

The antique butterfly trim is from The London Vintage Fashion Textiles and Accessories Fair.

The sewing thread needles come in this cute pebble from John James.

Boho braids

I'm loving the boho braid hair styles from the Noa Noa catalogue. Looks so pretty and romantic: the perfect style for long walks along the river and picnics in the park.

~ Keeping Organised ~

If you read my blog you will know how much I love all things neat and organised, so it will come as no surprise that one of my favourite shops in the whole world is Kikki K.  My office is decked out with Kikki K stationery and I could visit my local store weekly and still find something I want.  My love affair with Kikki K started long long ago when they were just an online store and I was so very excited when they opened a store close to where I live.

I have today discovered that they have had a website revamp and that there is now a Kikki K Magazine - can't wait to get my hands on it.  If you haven't discovered Kikki-k already check our their website at www.kikki-k.com.au - you are guaranteed to love it!

~ Party Favours ~

The second half of this year is going to be filled with a few parties for us so I have been in search of some ideas for party favours - here are some fantastic images I found care of Martha Stewart.

This would be cute for daughter number one's birthday party

Either of these could work for a christening

And these could work for just about any theme - Yum!

They might just be too nice to give away!!

I recently bought some adorable postcards in Paperchase and turned them over to see who the artist was. Belle & Boo is the work of illustrator Mandy Sutcliffe:

"Belle & Boo are two of Mandy’s favourite characters. Belle with her bobbed hair, bright eyes and wearing vintage clothing, is insistently curious about the world around her, and based on elements of Mandy as a child.

With her magical imagination Mandy was always surrounded by friends, and together they fulfilled many a daydream. So when creating Belle she gave her Boo - Belle’s adorable bunny rabbit companion and confidant."

I discovered she has a website www.belleandboo.com where you can purchase prints of her adorable art along with bags, buttons, clothes, tags and cards etc.

She also has an adorable blog where she posts pics of the original drawings.
