Serena & Lily

I have just found these gorgeous storage bins from Serena & Lily. I love that the print is a glossy watertight coat: so many uses from storing your icy cold drinks at parties to dressing up your outdoor space with the window boxes.

I am also loving the pool blue colour of the wall and the fabric strands tied to the retro fan in the above pic. I think the fabric strands make it look so pretty.

The pale yellow and green bedding on the gorgeous daybed looks so fresh. I love the Moroccan pouffe and the low level lighting.

This duvet cover, with the embroidered peacocks on the bottom, is fantastic, as is the low chandelier. The white voile curtains and white polished floor keep it so clean and fresh.

I like the mix of prints on this bed set against the paneled walls which gives it a vintage touch.

~ Weekend Dreaming ~

Oh I would love to be spending the weekend here in the Maldives!!

This weekend however is going to be filled with all things five!! Our eldest daughter is having her 5th Birthday Party so while I will be entertaining 20 five year olds my post today is dreaming about where I would love to be spending the weekend!!! Having said that however I am looking forward to watching the excitement on her face at her Disco Diva Party.

I found this fabulous wallpaper while looking at the Australian House and Garden website - very cool - love the way the butterflies lift off the wall!

Made it Artisan Feature!

I have been selling the hair clips I make on an Australian handmade website or a few months now and the more I lurk around and check out whats on offer the more I realise how special handmade items and gifts are. Made it showcases so many talented people and the amazing things they make. Each item has been lovingly crafted and when you receive your package in the mail - it always comes presented with care and thought. As one of my aims of this blog is to get more people on to the buy handmade banwagon I have decided to showcase some of the special people I meet through places like madeit and etsy and the very pretty things they make. First up is Melinda at Here we go Loopy Lou who has managed to combine two of my loves- fabric and greeting cards. I couldn't resist her special greeting cards especialy as the russian doll fabric is one of my favourites (You might have seen it as a lulufroufrou hair snap) and I ordered them yesterday arvo and were already in the mailbox today. So if you love unique greeting cards or just want to get something special for someone check out her shop on made it now.

~ Six Weeks ~

Indiana is now 6 weeks old and everyone keeps telling me how much she looks like her big sisters - while I know she is definitely similar, to me she looks a little different so I headed for the photo albums to do some comparing!

Here are some photos of each of my little munchkins in the bath at 6 weeks of age.

I love the so pretty vintage looking pics that are subtly full of shine and texture. I especially love the quirkiness in the first photo.
