~ A Happy Fathers Day ~

Well my surprise for Mr A worked and I got him to cry on Fathers Day - as I posted a few weeks ago I had some beautiful professional photos taken of our girls and we surprised Emilio on Fathers Day with them. We started with a beautiful slideshow with 40 photos from the session, followed by the presentation of some large framed favourites and a devine coffee table book.

Fathers Day (and Mothers Day) is always one of those days that makes us count our blessings as we are so lucky to have our beautiful children but also makes us think of our angel we lost and in my case my dad who I also lost just a few short weeks after our first daughter.

Thank you Chantelle from Forever Bliss Photography for capturing such beautiful shots of our family. We will treasure these wonderful memories.

Here are a few more of my favourite shots.

I hope your day was as special as ours.

This award is bestowed on to blogs that are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. deliver this award to six bloggers who must choose six more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award. I will pass this award to some of my bloggy friends that I find exceedingly charming…

Toast Summer '09

As Summer draws to a close...

How cute is the first shot?! I adore the vintage feel of these shots from the Toast Summer catalog.

Toast is a British company that sources exquisitely stylish clothing, crisp bed linen and beautiful accessories. They work with artisan producers that live up to Toast's environmentally friendly policies.

I am also loving the 1920's style finger waves hair like the new Autumn Noa Noa photo shoot.

~ House Update ~

The house is progressing wonderfully and I have all my kitchen and bathroom cabinetry in which is so exciting - benchtops arrive next week.

The paving on the back porch has been laid and looks fantastic and we have a letterbox!

All is on track for completion in 6 weeks and I suspect that we may even be able to move in a week earlier - now I will have the dilemma of my window coverings not being ready in time!!

(Notice little Indiana in her capsule sleeping under the pantry - she goes everywhere and sleeps anywhere!)

(The new letterbox to be rendered and made a little more exciting next week!)

Have a great weekend everyone.
