~ Girls Bedrooms ~

This week I have been looking at more ideas for my girls bedrooms - here are some lovely images I have found so far.

~ Surprise in a lovely package ~

Lovely isn't it. What is it you say? Well it is not just any ordinary box!
I have a fascination with lovely boxes and when I spotted this beauty my heart skipped a beat.

hmmm, do we detect a pattern here? I seem to have butterfly brain at the moment. I'm not sure when it started but it would seem I am rather obsessed.

Fern's Naming Ceremony is coming up next month and the theme is.... you guessed it. A Naming Day is sort of like a Christening but without the churchy bit and I've gone more than a little butterfly mad. The invitations; the favours; the decorations; the cakes; and if I can coordinate an actual butterfly release on the day I don't think it will be too tacky... will it?

My invites, using Christina Re papers

I thought about making butterfly cakes (you know, the ones where you chop the top bit off the cake, cut in half  and stick it on the top with cream) but then I found this image. And why use mock-cream when I can adorn a plate of freshly baked cupcakes with these gorgeous pastel gems?

As usual I'm obsessing over the small details without thinking about the bigger picture. But if it it looks pretty everyone will overlook the fact that I've forgotten something major --- right?

New Stockist for Lulu froufrou!!

These beautiful hair accessory sets are off to Creative House - one of the prettiest gift shops I have ever seen. Anna stocks everything lovely and special from handbags to gift cards and more. So if your lucky enough to live in Yarraville or heading there for the day pop in and have a look. Just don't think that you will leave empty handed, you never do.

Anthropologie coming to UK

Anthropologie is one of my favourite stores in the US for clothing and interiors. Whenever I visit the States it is my first stop. I can't leave the store without buying a little trinket, another latte bowl in ice cream colours, gorgeous smelling candles in yummy scents like angel cake, or a book on Magnolia's cupcakes. Imagine my joy when I found that they are coming to the UK.

They have chosen Regent Street in London as the location for their UK flagship store, to open by the end of the year. A second store will open on the King’s Road in Fulham next year; one of my favorite shopping addresses.

Anthropologie is the big sister company to Urban Outfitters. Their target audience is women in their 30's and above, with a mixture of eclectic own labels, a sprinkling of bought-in brands, as well as homewares, furniture and gifts. Brands include 7 For All Mankind, J Brand, Level 99 and Levi’s.

~ Fine and Dandy ~

I have had this photo below in my file of favourite things - I just love the desk and the pinboard. The photo is even pined to my pin board at my desk to give me ispiration.

I was very excited yesterday when my new Home Beautiful magazine arrived in the mail and the owner of these lovely items is featured. She has a devine website that sells all of her lovely wares. You can find it here. I particularly love her pin boards. She also has a great blog that is worth checking out.

I think this lovely pink pinboard will look great in my girls rooms.
The green one is lovely as well.
And this fabulous tote would look nice in my wardrobe!

~ Wardrobes ~

I am busy planning my wardrobes in the new house and I am a tad frustrated by what the wardrobe company has come up with design wise - this is a new house and we have reasonably high ceilings and a blank canvas to work with and they have come up with plans that are well boring. I thought I would go back through my file of favourite wardrobes and post a few here so I could remind myself of what I am looking for so that I don't just settle for something that I don't want! If anyone has had luck with a good wardrobe company I would love to hear from you!
