this weekend

is going to be three days long as it's a public holiday here in victoria. so i am going to soak up the family time. relish in having my husband home for the whole three days. enjoy extra special breakfasts where we all eat together. make sure we get out of the house each day. especially for a stroll on the sand.

here's to a weekend of dancing like no ones watching. every minute of it.

Summer Fun

Summer is fast fading here in Sydney so before it disappears completely I thought I would have a recap of some pool and beach time I have shared with the girls over the past few months.

Goodbye summer, I miss you already

some days

nothing goes right. i struggle with the every day. my children don't listen to a word i say. i chase my tail. my cups of tea get cold. the mail man delivers nothing but bills. everyone in the neighbourhood cuts their grass at the same time. my name is being called way too much. i miss chatting to my friends with out having to run from little distractions. i lose faith in myself.

but today

i am working on believing more in me. & the feeling that i can do it. i can be a better mum. wife. daughter. sister & friend.

And so it ends and so it begins

It feels very fitting, and somewhat ironic, that today is my 'last day' in my corporate 'career'.

Bittersweet, but fortunately more sweet than bitter. Never bitter.

Pottery Barn

Today on shops i love I wanted to share with you Pottery Barn; one of my favourite American interior stores and my go-to place for the chic'est Easter decorations. Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to have sweet friends visiting the US just before Easter and they have been kind enough to bring me back lots of cute bunnies.
