on Saturday April 10th

for anyone

it will be the day

the Herald Sun newspaper
as my
will be featured
in the accompanying
Home magazine!

Appearing in the Herald Sun every Saturday, home* is Australia's most popular full colour homemaker magazine. With a strong focus on new homes and land, the magazine is balanced with a lifestyle element including decor and design ideas, property and land trends and renovation ideas. This clever balance has helped the publication leap ahead of its competitors and provides a strong advertising environment for leading builders, land developers and retail businesses.

Don't eat too much chocolate....

As the long weekend rolls around for most, I thought I would quickly wish everyone a wonderful, safe and happy holiday. I am so looking forward to having hubby home for a few extra days. We plan to do some odd jobs around the house, with a lovely big bike ride tomorrow and a lunch with family and friends on Sunday.
I also have a few crafty projects to finish up and some new hair pretty orders to start.
I hope you have lots of fun things planned...

Happy Easter

Yay Easter is here and being a serious chocoholic there is nothing better than a basket full of eggs to keep me happy. Hope you have a happy and chocolate filled Easter - I am off to relax with the family - see you next week.

When Your Cupeth Runneth Over

Now that I'm well and truly up the proverbial duff (I'm almost halfway, can you believe it - I can't!!) I am starting to notice a definite little bump and though I managed (just) to squeeze myself into my skinny jeans today, I fear more of me was above the waistband than Levis might have otherwise intended. But that's not the only change.

All of a sudden, I have grown absolutely enormous k-nockers!

This didn't happen last time. Not that I recall anyway. I distinctly recall cankles, a football head, puffy fingers, swollen feet and a lovely brown mask all over my face. But big bosoms? Not so much.

Technically speaking, my new twosome are not textbook behemoth. If I'm completely honest about my size, I'd say I am now a well endowed B-cup. But let me tell you, this is larger than I have ever been in my life, which says much about my size previously! I never quite realised how, ahem, little I had until I finally filled a B cup!

Have I lost you yet? I've sort of lost me. Call it pregnancy brain. Surely I have more to think about than the size of my own knockers?

Check out these lov-e-ly brassieres I treated myself to today, in celebration of growing out of my training bras!

What occupies your mind this week?

Design-a wooden egg cup by Baker Ross

What Easter breakfast table would be complete without egg cups for your freshly boiled eggs! As I didn't have any egg cups that went with my colour theme I recently purchased the design a wooden egg cups and have started painting them in the pastel colour paints I used to decorate my Easter bird houses last year. This year I am having guests for afternoon tea at Easter so I was thinking of putting chocolate eggs in mine, but I also love Martha's idea of putting flowers or candles in the empty egg shells.

I hope to finish painting my egg cups soon and I will post the pics up here.

Have a sweet day!

Easter Gifts

We have been busy making little easter gifts to give out to class mates at school and pre-school. Thanks to the lovely designs by Kim at The Tomkat Studio our project has been made so much prettier!

We made little favour bags with gummy bunnies and chocolate eggs all topped with a little tag from Kims Bunny Love Easter Collection. Check it out here.

Look how cute the bunny necklace is from the new "Dolly" range for mini Anna Lou ladies - a great alternative to chocolate for an Easter gift.

I thought my London-based web readers might want to know that Anna Lou is holding a Flash Sale at Anna Lou on Wednesday 31st March 2010. For 2 hours only, at the Anna Lou of London shop at 21 Fouberts Place W1F 7QE (around the corner from Liberty) everything, including new season items will be 50% off from 1-3pm.

useful finds

while wondering around a church fete recently my husband spotted these wooden embroidery hoops & suggested I would be able to use them! he sure is on the ball!! they were a bargain @ $3 so I took them home & used some of my favourite Amy Butler fabric to make them pieces of art. I also displayed the fabric in some frames to add some more interest. They are sitting among my favourite things in my creative space.

9 Months

Wow, where did that month go! Indi is now 9 months and are gorgeous as ever! Here are her 9 month photos - this means I only have 3 months to plan for the next birthday party in our house - there are so many different ways I could go with this party but I must decided on the theme soon so I don't get side tracked!

Point + Shoot : 8

Its point and shoot time again....

We got to help my beautiful sister in law to be celebrate her Hen's Night this weekend (and my head is still sore).

I love a girls bonding session and not much tops a Hen's for that. It was a full day affair beginning with a special breakfast and Make-up session, followed by a lunch function filled with yummy food, drinkies, dancing and games (including the one in this photo - dont you love putting someone on the spot and watching them squirm). Then we headed into city for some Karaoke and a little more dancing...

The Wedding countdown can now begin, and as a Bridesmaid, I am very much looking forward to watching my Brother marry his soul mate...
