Go ahead, make my (birth)day!

I love my friend Kellie. We used to work together, back when I worked at Council (I was a lolly-pop lady, didn't I tell you? hehehe) and have remained friends thereafter. She's actually Fern's godmother so I reckon we'll be friends for a very long time to come! Anyway, this morning as I toiled blearily-eyed to tidy up my garbage-dump-cum-family-home and simultaneously dress and feed two little kids plus work on my bm3 orders there was a knock on the door. I opened it, to find Kellie. With a gorgeous bunch of flowers. For ME!

It's my birthday tomorrow, but I'm so busy and frazzled that it has barely registered. But Kellie didn't forget. And her flowers (and scarily appropriate b'day card) pretty much made my day.

... and then something else happened that made my day all over. The postman brought with him a little parcel. And in it?

Little woven pieces of magic that turn Bubby Makes Three into a label. I mean, a real LABEL. And I'm excited like its my birthday!!

Oh wait, it is my birthday!

I wonder what my actual birthday will bring??
